Using Story Locker

Story Locker is a place to record and keep your life stories on video. By using it you agree to these terms. You need a Google account to save recordings to a locker.

Your recordings are yours

You keep all rights to what you record. We store your recordings only so that you can watch them back, and we do not use them for anything else. You can download or delete them whenever you like.

What you agree not to do

• Record someone without their agreement.
• Upload anything unlawful, or anything you don’t have the right to record or store.
• Try to access anyone else’s locker, or interfere with the service.

The AI interviewer

The AI interviewer is there to help you tell your story. It is software, it can get things wrong or misunderstand you, and it is not a substitute for advice from a person. Treat its questions as prompts, not instructions.

Availability

We work to keep the service running and your recordings safe, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees. Please keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable by using the download button in your locker.
